Professional Diving or commercial Diving is a type of diving where the diver is paid for their work. There are several branches of professional diving, the best known of which is probably commercial diving. Any person wishing to become a professional diver must undergo specific training; due to the demanding nature and danger of some professional diving disciplines, specialized equipment is often required or demanded by law, normally diver to surface communications systems.
