Open Water Scuba Diving Homework

  1. Read the entire yellow folder. Fill in the blanks completely. Sign the yellow folder.
  2. Read the Medical History, To the Participant: carefully. If any of these items apply to you, we must request that you consult with a physician prior to participating in scuba diving. We will supply you with a PADI Medical Statement and Guidelines for Recreational Scuba Diver's Physician Examination to take to your physician.
  3. Bring in two (2) head and shoulders photographs of yourself, 1 1/4 inches by 1 3/4 inches.
  4. View the appropriate video module before coming to each class.
  5. Read the appropriate module in the PADI Open Water Diver manual before coming to each class.
  6. Fill out the appropriate knowledge review at the end of each module and cut it out of the manual before coming to each class.
  7. Turn in the completed knowledge review at the beginning of each class.
  8. Bring your " Gear Required to Scuba Dive In the Pool" to all classes starting with the class where we go to the pool.
  9. Bring your PADI Open Water Diver manual and your PADI Recreational Dive Planner to all classes.
  10. Get fitted for your wet suit ahead of your open water dives.
  11. Reserve ahead of time, then don't forget to bring your " Gear Required to Scuba Dive In the Open Water" to the open water site.
  12. Bring your PADI log book, your PADI Open Water Diver manual and PADI Recreational Dive Planner to the open water dive site.

Mask, Fins, Snorkel, Boots, 30-lb Weight Belt, TWO Tanks, Bouyancy Compensating Device, Regulator with Octopus and Submersible Pressure Gauge, De-Fog Solution, Bathing Suit, Towel, Wet Suit Farmer John, Wet Suit Jacket, Hood, Gloves, Tarp to set gear on, PADI Log Book, PADI Diver Manual and PADI Recreational Dive Planner, recommended a High Altitude Slate.
