Open Water Scuba Diving Homework
- Read the entire yellow folder. Fill in the blanks
completely. Sign the yellow folder.
- Read the Medical History, To the Participant: carefully.
If any of these items apply to you, we must request that you consult with
a physician prior to participating in scuba diving. We will supply you
with a PADI Medical Statement and Guidelines for Recreational Scuba Diver's
Physician Examination to take to your physician.
- Bring in two (2) head and shoulders photographs of
yourself, 1 1/4 inches by 1 3/4 inches.
- View the appropriate video module before coming to
each class.
- Read the appropriate module in the PADI Open Water
Diver manual before coming to each class.
- Fill out the appropriate knowledge review at the end
of each module and cut it out of the manual before coming to each
class.
- Turn in the completed knowledge review at the beginning
of each class.
- Bring your "
Gear Required to Scuba Dive In the Pool" to all classes starting
with the class where we go to the pool.
- Bring your PADI Open Water Diver manual and your
PADI Recreational Dive Planner to all classes.
- Get fitted for your wet suit ahead of your open water
dives.
- Reserve ahead of time, then don't forget to bring
your "
Gear Required to Scuba Dive In the Open Water" to the open water
site.
- Bring your PADI log book, your PADI Open Water Diver
manual and PADI Recreational Dive Planner to the open water dive
site.
