SPECIALTY DIVER

A. PURPOSE

1. These programs have been designed to provide certified divers with specialty training in areas such as Underwater Modeling, Underwater Photography, Underwater Videography, Night Diver, Salvage Diver, Wall Diver, DPV Diver, Rescue Diver, Oxygen Provider, Hyperbaric Chamber Operations, Dive Medic, Full Face Mask Diver, Surface Supplied Diver, etc.

B. PREREQUISITES

1. Certified Diver.

2. As per the program outline approved in writing by the Training Director or designated area Licensee representative.

3. Must be a minimum of 15 years of age with a parent or guardian authorization or 18 years or older without guardian approval.

C. TEXTS

1. As per the program outline approved in writing by IAND, Inc./IANTD World Headquarters or area Licensee representative.

D. PROGRAM CONTENT

1. As per the program outline approved in writing by the Training Director or designated area Licensee representative. All programs must include the appropriate training dives with a minimum of 4 dives. The specialty must have stress management as part of the curriculum.

E. EQUIPMENT

1. As per the program outline approved in writing by the Training Director or designated area Licensee representative.

F. PROGRAM LIMITS

1. As per the program outline approved in writing by IAND, Inc./IANTD World Headquarters, or area Licensee representative.

2. No dives deeper than 130 fsw ± 10 fsw (39 msw ± 3 msw).

G. WATERSKILLS DEVELOPMENT

1. As per the program outline approved by the Training Director or designated area Licensee representative.
