PADI CORE SCUBA DIVING PROGRAMS
PADI OPEN WATER DIVER
| This is where it all begins! Your first step
into the underwater world!
Our Open Water
is taught over a two week class, typically starting every when you are available. We cover
everthing you need to know to be able to plan and conduct safe and enjoyable diving.
The class builds your knowledge and comfort level through a combination of classroom,
pool and finally open water diving sessions. This course teaches you the basics of scuba
diving, equipment use and safe diving practices. Don't wait another day to sign up!
Make sure you find out the bottom line for the total cost of your training. What is
required, what is provided, what can be rented, what must be purchased!!!
Class Schedule: Evening Classes available, 6 P.M. - 9:30 P.M.,
Sat/Sun 9 A.M. - 4 P.M.- schedule varies depending on our mutual schedules
Cost: $350 Tuition fees cover course fees only.
Required Books/Equipment: $75
You need to get books, slates, photographs, etc.
If you have mask, fins and snorkle ... GREAT! If not,
go ahead and wait till after the first night where we talk about gear and what
to look for. Then if you want to purchase the gear from us ... we will make sure you'll
have everything you need.

PADI OPEN WATER REFERRAL

PADI SCUBA REVIEW
You are a certified scuba diver, but it
has been a long time since you have been in the water blowing bubbles, this
program refreshes your skills. Just one four-hour session
will allow you to dive with confidence again.
Class Schedule: Evening Classes available, 6 P.M. - 9:30 P.M.,
Sat/Sun 9 A.M. - 4 P.M.- schedule varies depending on our mutual schedules
Cost: $125 Tuition fees cover course fees only.
Required Books/Equipment: $0
If you need to get books, slates, photographs, etc. we can supply them.
If you have mask, fins and snorkle ... GREAT! If not, we can supply them.
Then if you want to purchase the gear from us ... we will make sure you'll
have everything you need.

PADI ADVANCED OPEN WATER
So now I'm certified ... now what? This is where
your adventure begins! This is the next logical step in your dive education. The
Advanced Open Water Diver course was designed to expand
your comfort level of the open water diver. Some academics are required in this
program ... its primary focus is to expand the types of dives you do. You can either
read the text ahead of time or we can give you a comprehensive briefing prior to the dive
and you can turn in the required knowledge reviews at a later date. The class
consists of doing five dives: a deep dive and an underwater navigation dive are required,
with a night dive highly recommended ... the instructor and class come up with the
remaining two elective dives based on location, we usually recommend high altitude and
dry suit.
This is a chance to gather some bottom time under a variety of diving conditions under
the supervision
of a diving professional. This course ofers you additional skills and added
confidence.
Class Schedule: Evening Classes and dives available locally,
6 P.M. - 9:30 P.M.,
Sat/Sun - schedule varies, this class can be done over one weekend or over
a series of five (5) days depending on your and our schedules.
Cost: $225 Tuition fees cover course fees only.
Required Books/Equipment: $50
You need to get books, slates, etc.
You need to provide all your gear and a dive light for the night dive, a
compass for the navigation dive and a high altitude slate for the deep dive.

PADI RESCUE DIVER
So what IF something happens while you're out
diving? Are you ready to face the unknown? This course is dedicated to getting you
Rescue Diver certified, then applying these with many other emergency responder
skills to the world of diving. You'll learn how to respond to everything from a
sting to a full panic diver in the water! This is one a course which EVERYONE should
go through, especially if you have family who dives! This course emphasizes three
separate areas of safety - how to identify problems before they become a resuce
situation, how to help a fellow diver in trouble and how to get yourself out of
trouble.
Class Schedule: Evening Classes available, 6 P.M. - 9 P.M.,
Saturday 8 A.M. - 4 P.M. If you have the material read ahead of time we can
complete the required in-water work over a minimum of two (2) days
Cost: $250 Tuition fees cover course fees only.
Required Books/Equipment: $50
You need to get books and you supply all
your own scuba diving equipment!

MASTER SCUBA DIVER!
The Master Scuba Diver rating is the
highest recreational scuba diver rating in the PADI program. The rating
denotes superior achievement and proficiency. The Master Scuba Diver rating
requires Advanced Open Water Diver, Rescue Diver and any five specialties.

something to fit our mutual schedules ...

PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT
PADI DIVEMASTER
| So you want to try your hand at going
professional with this sport you love so much? Well, Divemaster is the first step!
This self-paced program works up your knowledge and experience with diving on
every level ... academics, personal, presentation, supervisory ... once you're done
with this one, you'll understand why the PADI Divemaster is one of the most
respected ranks within the diving community. If you're up for a challenge and a
way for your sport to start giving back to you ... take on the challenge!
NOTE: You'll find that our Divemaster program is one of the least expensive programs
in the market, but probally the most intensive. Qualification into our program
is NOT automatic ... yet we are more than willing to help you.
Class Schedule: Self-paced program, schedule varies. (Normally takes
about 8-12 weeks.)
Cost: $395 Tuition fees cover course fees only.
Required Books/Equipment: $80 for the Divemaster Training Package.
Additional Divemaster books beyond the before mentioned training package
and pool rental time/space not covered. Additional books are required, see
Instructor for details. You will need to purchase at least the PADI Divemaster,
PADI Encyclopedia of Recreational Diving and PADI Diving Knowledge Workbook.

PADI ASSISTANT INSTRUCTOR
So, now you're a Divemaster and dreaming about
the possibility of going instructor? Here's an affordable way of tasting the
instructor realm! This optional step gives you a chance to take select
training programs and sessions and experience the rush of teaching!
Class Schedule: Self-paced program, schedule varies. (Normally takes
about 2-3 weeks.)
Cost: $395 Tuition fees cover course fees only.
Required Books/Equipment: Assistant Instructor books and pool
rental time/space not covered. Additional books are required. See Instructor for details.
Some of the additional books required are a PADI Instructor Manual and the
PADI Best of the Undersea Journal and the Business of Diving.

PADI INSTRUCTOR DEVELOPMENT COURSE (IDC)
You're ready for that big step ... and
here's the course you'll need to help you prepare yourself for the upcoming
PADI Instructor Examination!
NOTE: Many organizations offer IDCs, but keep in mind you normally get what you
pay for. You'll also find that you'll end up paying around two grand for all
the training, materials and testing fees you'll see ... but this is a serious step.
Take the time to interview the Course Director and the shop you'll be receiving
your training through. Look at this step as an investment into your future ...

ENRICHED AIR NITROX DIVER

dives over a minimum of one day ...

RIVER DIVER
The purpose of the PADI River Diver
specialty course is to familiarize divers with the procedures, safety protocols,
hazards, risks, benefits and theory of river diving. The training in this course
emphasizes the importance of proper procedures to ensure safety and realistically
balance the pros and cons of river diving. We encourage elaboration beyond the
material in the course materials to accomodate individual student strengths and
interests and aspects of river diving unique our or your local environment.
Visiting divers can easily complete the training over a period of two days! ...
Cost: $125

DEEP DIVER
With the Open Water course you can
dive to 60 feet. With the Advanced Open Water course you can dive to 100 feet.
You want to try going a little deeper? This course will take you past 100 feet. We
will take you there! Take a plunge down to the limits of PADI and the
recreational diving limits and learn the safety
procedures and practices surrounding deep diving ... This course emphasizes
the skills necessary to conduct safe repetitive deep dives. These
topics include: Problems and hazards of deep diving, emergency procedures, special
equipment and flying after diving.
Cost: $250

WRECK DIVER
Welcome to the real world of wreck diving!
This course will give ypu the tools that you need to safety explore the underwater
treasures of the deep. You'll cover the planning and best way to safely conduct a
wreck dive.
A class that can make you diving more fun and enjoyable due to more confidence under
overhead environments ... but mostly, it can make your diving safer! Advanced Open
Water diver or equivalent experience is required ... The course consists of four
dives over a minimum of two days.
Cost: $250.

SEARCH AND RECOVERY DIVER
This course familiarizes you with the
techniques and skills necessary to effectively plan, organize and conduct
search and recovery dives. Limited visibility diving, recovery of objects using
various lifting devices and navigational techniques all covered during the open
water dives. This is a four open water dive class over a minimum of two days.
Cost: $150

MULTLEVEL DIVER
Did you recently purchase a dive computer, do you
want to dive longer, do you want to stay down longer? You will learn
multilevel diving techniques, from use of your computer to emergency ascents to
flooding. Also
covered are basic techniques and dive computer and
care. This class consists of two open water dives.
Cost: $125

SPECIALIZED DIVER TRAINING
DAN OXYGEN FIRST AID FOR SCUBA DIVING INJURIES including
REMOTE EMERGENCY MEDICAL OXYGEN (REMO2)
and/or PADI OXYGEN FIRST AID
| During the course you will learn that
providing oxygen is the best treatment for someone suspected of having a diving
related accident. You will conduct hands on administration of oxygen to your
classmates. This course provides you with the proper tools necessary to safety
administer oxygen in an emergency situation. There is a practical exam and a
written exam.
Cost: $95 for DAN or PADI certification
Cost: $120 for both DAN and PADI certifications
Required Books/Equipment: Tuition covers course fees and the
DAN Oxygen text book.

UNDERWATER PHOTOGRAPHY
This class introduces you to the basics of
underwater photography. You will learn choices of film, strobe use, proper
techniques of underwater photography along with the care and maintenance procedures
for your camera and housing.
Cost: $125

no cameras, film or processing included.

ADVANCED UNDERWATER PHOTOGRAPHY
This class takes off where the last
class ended. We can work with your experiences. We can expand on
your photography skills. Critiques are a bit more extensive. This course consists
of two open water dives.

no cameras, film or processing included.

UNDERWATER HUNTER/COLLECTOR DIVER
A introduction to underwater hunting and
collecting, techniques which includes equipment needed, safe techniques of spear
fishing and collecting. This class consists of a minimum of two open water dives.

UNDERWATER NAVIGATOR DIVER
Topics covered in this class are distance
estimation, compass navigation and natural navigation. This class is three open
water dives over the course of a minimum of one day. You will practice each of
these new skills along with dive site relocation.

NIGHT DIVER
Even the most familiar of dive sites look
completely different once the sun sets! This course is designed to help you overcome
that first-time uneasiness that you may feel. You will learn proper procedures for
buoyancy, night time navigation, communication and the selection and use of dive
lights. This class is three open
water dives over the course of a minimum of one day. You will practice each of
these new skills along with entry relocation.

DRY SUIT DIVER
Did you recently purchase a dry suit, do you
want to dive colder water, do you want to stay warmer while you dive? You will learn
drysuit diving techniques, from weighting to emergency ascents to flooding. Also
covered are basic entry and exit techniques and suit and seal maintenance and
care. This class consists of one pool session and two open water dives.
