During the oxygen courses you will learn that providing oxygen is the best treatment
for someone suspected of having a diving related accident. You will conduct hands
on administration of oxygen to your classmates. This course provides you with the
proper tools necessary to safely administer oxygen in an emergency situation. There
is a practical exam and a written exam.
During the, First Aid for Hazardous Marine Life Injuries course, you will learn to
identify hazardous marine life, to recognize possible injuries caused by hazardous
marine life, to provide first aid for hazardous marine life injuries and to
avoid hazardous marine life injuries.
Full Oxygen Course
Cost: $95 for DAN or PADI or IANTD certification including the new REMO2 module
Cost: $120 for both DAN and PADI or DAN and IANTD certifications
Required Books/Equipment: Tuition covers course fees and the DAN Oxygen text book.
Hazardous Marine Life Course
Cost: $55 for DAN certification
Required Books/Equipment: Tuition covers course fees and the DAN Marine Life text book.
Oxygen Recertification every two years.
Cost: $55 for DAN including the new REMO2 module
Cost: $80 for both DAN and PADI or DAN and IANTD certifications because it was not
originally offered.
Oxygen Update
to add the new REMO2 module one time only and within the first
two years of your original oxygen certification.
Cost: $20 for DAN including the new REMO2 module
Cost: $45 for both DAN and PADI or DAN and IANTD certifications because it was not
originally offered.
